Joining the jubilant atmosphere of the 2023-2024 School Opening Ceremony across the country, MEKONG GREEN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL held the Opening Ceremony on September 5, marking the beginning of the new school year with numerous meaningful activities.
At the Opening Ceremony, MGIS had the honor of welcoming Mr. Nguyen Van Hon, Deputy Secretary of the City Committee and Chairman of Rach Gia People’s Committee, as well as Ms. Le Thi Thu Hien, a Specialist from the Department of Primary and Preschool Education at the Department of Education and Training of Kien Giang Province. On the Group’s side, Mr. Tran Tho Thang – Chairman of the Board of Directors of CIC Group, and Ms. Pham Thi Nhu Phuong – General Director of CIC Group and Chairman of CIC Education Co., Ltd., along with Deputy General Directors, leaders of affiliated departments, and Directors of member companies, attended the event.
The students immersed themselves in an exciting and joyful atmosphere with their friends, showcasing their talents through extremely adorable musical performances. Additionally, the ceremony featured sharing and good wishes for a passionate school year ahead, symbolized by the opening drumbeat, which fueled the spirits of MGIS teachers to continue nurturing and continue “nurturing future leaders” instilling confidence and bravery with the motto ‘I CAN.’
The ‘Green knowledge‘ movement was inaugurated with the goal, “Each old book is a new friend that opens new horizons for readers,” representing the school’s commitment to fostering sharing, understanding, and enhancing academic knowledge within an international educational environment.
